Yoshi Mizutani was born in Japan and exhibited a passion for art from a very young age. Driven by a desire to master the techniques of European realism in the tradition of artists such as Velazquez and Sargent, Yoshi left his home country at the age of 18 to study abroad in Spain, France and Italy.
